Even if everything is going well for you, even if you have big savings in your bank, you still want to have a BETTER income and BIGGER savings. You want to have extra money so you can buy things you have always wanted to have or do something you have longed to do.

Here are some helpful ideas on how to earn EXTRA money QUICKLY:

1.) Set up a GARAGE SALE. It's about time that you clean your closet and sell those clothes that you are not using anymore. Please don't include worn out clothes! You're intention is to make money from old stuff on good condition. If you have just recently changed some of your furniture and appliances, put them into good use. Sell them, instead of just making your old items untouched and dusty. Give the best deals and for sure, your old things will sell like pancakes!

2.) Make cookies or brownies and sell them. Check the prices within your neighborhood and sell your cookies at lower prices. You can always find low-cost ingredients in the market. You can sell your delicious goodies to you friends, relatives and colleagues.

3.) Have a book sale. If you don't have any other stuff to sell, then gather all your books from grade school, your novelty books, old magazines, college and other educational books and put them to sale instead of letting the pages of the books tattered. Let your old books be of use!

Or you can work full time for a financial firm then be a freelance car or house agent during your free time. There's a lot of hot jobs you can apply for. All you need is to look for it. Jobs won't be looking for you.

5.) Earn extra money online. If you are into computers and writing like I do, then use your craft and submit your articles online. You can check a lot of websites looking for freelance writers. Cheap Christmas Gift Ideas

We only have a few more weeks left before Christmas so we better start preparing for the much awaited season of the year. Going to the mall and finding gifts for your family and friends will really be hard now since everyone is practically out in the streets in the rush shopping for the holidays.

And if your budget for your presents won't
be as big as mine, well, you better start thinking now or you won't get anywhere. Look at me, I have a long list of people I need to give presents that I sometimes wish I can just remove some of them on my list and hide inside my closet forever. But then, I realized, I need not omit any of my friends from my list. I was able to formulate a plan that will surely make my family, colleagues and friends happy with my little yet thoughtful Christmas presents.

So, what are those ideas that I have in mind? I have several Christmas gift ideas that will surely be a blast! Ever watched DIY(Do-It-Yourself) Network? Well, that's what I have in mind. You create the gift with your very own hands. You added your personal touch and you'll save big time!

Well, Number one on my list is making NO-BAKE COOKIES. This will definitely save you money! You don't have to use your oven which is electricity-consuming, and all you need is to pick the right ingredients and follow simple instructions and you're done! You can check my famous no-bake cookies at http://hubpages.com/hub/delcious-cookies-the-ultimate-D-I-Y-christmas-gifts. Instead of you buying posh t-shirts for your friends which will cost you a fortune, you can already make tons of cookies good for an army and amount that you will spend is even lesser than buying designer clothes.

Now, of
course, if cooking is NOT your favorite thing to do, then is another way on making a do-it-yourself Christmas gift. You can make scented candles as presents. Candles are really easy to make. You only need some few stuff and a day or two to make it and definitely, it will be appreciated big time. Making say 50 candles would only be the same cost as giving 5 candles you can buy at the stores. So it's five times cheaper, right? And if you made too much candles for having so much fun doing 'em, you can always save the rest for next Christmas or you can use it as part of your home decor.

If you feel now that making candles can somehow be tedious, the I have another bright, inexpensive and cool idea! You can make beaded accessories for your girl cousins, girl relatives, girl friends and girl colleagues. Well, it's not strictly for girls, if you can find good beads for men, then better. This is quite easy to do, all you need is your artistic skill to match 'em up, tie 'em up, and you just created perfect Christmas presents ever.

All you need is your imagination and a little budget on creating cheap yet creative gifts this Christmas. So why not start doing it now while you still have time!

And if you need some tips on how to have Christmas on a budget, you can check my article at http://hubpages.com/hub/Christmas-on-a-Budget_2.

Filipino Dishes to Die for

I'M PROUD TO BE A FILIPINO!! I LOVE Filipino dishes. I also love western dishes but since I'm a Filipino by heart, I crave for Filipino food more than anything else. There are variety of dishes that we are proud of that I am 100% sure you'll love as well.

So, what are the signature dishes of Filipinos
?

Lechon(Suckling pork) - This originated from Spain. But somehow has been one of the traditional food that you'll find on occasions like weddings, birthdays, Christenings, house warming, reunions, etc. This dish is roasting a whole pig over charcoal. Result is a very crispy skin and a tender meat inside. It is served with sweet spicy gravy sauce. Just don't eat lechon too much or your blood pressure will go up.

Sinigang na Baboy (Pork with Vegetables in Tamarind Soup)- This one of my ultimate favorites. You can also use beef, or shrimp(which I'm allergic to) to make a good Sinigang. It is simple to cook, you just have to make sure the meat is tender, tehn add the tamarind soup, throw in the veggies like string beans, kangkong(Chinese Water Spinach), onions, tomatoes, raddish, and you have your delicious Sinigang.

Karekare (Ox stripe in peanut sauce) - For me, Karekare is one of the challenging recipe's to cook. Unless you want to use the instant karekare paste, then it is just a breeze. Sauce should be purely made of grounded nuts and peanut butter. Add vegetables like string beans, pechay (Chinese cabbage), eggplant, chopped garlic and bagoong (Shrimp paste--which, again, I'm allergic to so I do away with it) You would often see it on get-together's and big events. You can use pork or beef as alternate to ox stripe.

Beef Caldereta (Spicy Beef Stew in Tomato Sauce) - This is my number one favorite. I just can't never get enough of beef Caldereta. I believe this dish is not originally fromthe Philippines. Correct me if I'm wrong, it's a Spanish or Mexican cuisine. But somehow, it has been considered as part of our native dishes. I also love cooking this heavenly spicy stew. You can also use pork as substitute. You just add loads of bellpeppers, potatoes, tomatoes, carrots and the works! You'll love it I swear!.

Lumpiang Sariwa (Fresh Spring/Egg Roll)- You will definitely love this food. This is just simply like a wrap stuffed with vegetables. Bean sprouts, carrots, string beans, potatoes and lettuce, then garnish with peanut sauce. You'll have one hell of a good experience trying Filipino's pride.

Are these not making you hungry?? Hahahaha.. If you need other variety of Filipino cuisisne or for recipe's, just leave your comment or email me at may_delmundo@yahoo.com or subscribe to my rss feed.
